Necessary Information for Admission

Documents Required:

All testimonials in original and 2 sets of self-attested photocopies (i.e., all marksheets, certificates, age proof, Caste certificate, PwD Certificate, EWS certificate, residential proof, Aadhar card)

  • Candidates with CGPA method of mark sheet must ensure CGPA to percentage conversion formula of the respective university.
  • Self-attested photocopy of filled-in application form
  • Two passport-size photographs
  • Printout of payment slip (after being selected)

Anti-ragging:

Anti-ragging Form duly filled in (format to be downloaded from website http://www.gtchooghly.ac.in). Students who have been selected must submit separate anti-ragging forms for both college and hostel if they choose to stay in the hostel. During the admission process, students must submit a plain declaration on a blank sheet of paper, and later on, they will need to present an affidavit

Instruction for Counselling:

Mere inclusion of name in the list for counseling does not guarantee one’s final admission to the course. Data provided in the online application should be corroborated with the original documents in course of physical verification.

  • As and when the seat(s) of any subject will be filled, immediately the counseling and admission for that subject will be declared closed.
  • The listed candidate who will remain absent on the particular day and time of counseling will not be considered for the next counseling process whatsoever his merit position be.

Automatically next candidate as per score will be considered in the similar manner

It is necessary to present the admission fee and all required documents on the day and time of admission. Failure to do so may result in denial of admission. Additionally, if any of the documents are found to be invalid, the admission may be canceled at any time.

Hostel fees including lodging, electricity, etc. Rs. 6000 (for 2 years) will have to be deposited on or before admission into the hostel in consultation with the hostel superintendent. Those who live beyond 50 km from college should occupy the hostel and ensure regular attendance in college.

Subject-wise reservation shown in the seat matrix may be changed due to the non-availability of the said categories. In such circumstances, the number of reservations will be maintained by distributing seats, stream/group-wise (Language, Social Science, Science, Mathematics, and Music)
