Sanctioned Programme

This college offers two years regular Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme to the teacher trainees. Both the deputed and fresher candidates are eligible to undergo such training programme following the norms, criteria, rules and regulations of NCTE, Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University (BSAEU) & Govt. of West Bengal. The total intake capacity of the B.Ed.course is only 50 students per year. Currently this institute offers the following school subjects as Method papers –

Eligibility

At least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences / Humanity or At least 55% marks in Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics or other qualification equivalent thereto.
(Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/PWD) (As per NCTE regulation, 2014 and Rules of The West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training Education Planning and Administration and Department of Education, Science and Technology and Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal)
